Bandgi Kalra On Bigg Boss & Fitness!

Bandgi Kalra is an Indian model and television personality. She got fame and popularity with Colors TV Channel show Bigg Boss season 11. Before appearing on television, she was a senior software engineer and part-time model.

The diva, who has over 864k Instagram followers, frequently takes over the internet with her posts. Bandgi Kalra also impresses the fashion police with her sartorial choices. She is a fitness enthusiast and loves to post pics of her working out

Women Fitness India joins her for a candid chat over her journey and fitness regime.

 Bandgi, you have been part of a reality show and are now an aspiring actor and a content creator, tell us how did your journey begin?

Ms.Bandgi Kalra

Well, before I was all this I was a Software engineer working in an MNC with Big dreams. Since childhood I wanted to be a Star, always had big dreams which nobody could understand. I don’t come from an industry background so the journey wasn’t that easy for me. However, after working in the IT industry for 2 years I finally decided to quit and follow my passion, and luckily I got selected for Biggboss the very next month. It was a Big deal for me as I have been a Salman Khan fan since childhood and starting my career with his show was the biggest advantage to my career ahead.

You have been part of the biggest reality show, Bigg Boss, how was your experience on the show, do you plan to do any more reality or fiction shows in future

Ms. Bandgi Kalra

I started my career with India’s biggest reality show – Bigg Boss and had a very good experience. It gave me immense love and popularity and an experience that taught me a lot about the highs and lows of success and how to handle that. No, I would not be interested in another reality show unless it’s something related to Fashion but I do have my debut movies in line. I am currently working on them, there are a lot of workshops, the training we are going through before we actually start shooting for this project.

Women Fitness India, talks about celebrity diets and fitness routines, do you follow any special diets? Your favorite cheat meals

Ms. Bandgi Kalra

No nothing special I just eat home-cooked meals but there are certain things that I avoid like dairy, gluten, and extreme sugar. Also, I have never been a fan of junk food in my life so it’s nothing too difficult for me to avoid but there are certain things which are difficult to cut down so I eat them as my cheat meals – I have a sweet tooth so I love dark chocolate desserts, Maggie and blue lays !!

You post a lot of fitness routines on your feed, what comprises your fitness regime? Your favorite target areas

Ms. Bandgi Kalra

I love to share my workout routines with my fans online. They keep asking me to post such content. I do a mix of strength and cardio. My main focus is to tone my body as much as I can. My main target areas are the abdomen and to strengthen my upper body.

Your fitness goals for the upcoming year? What is your post-workout meal

Ms. Bandgi Kalra

I just want to be better than I was 6 months before fitness-wise. I love a toned body and I am currently working on that. It takes a lot of hard work and patience but I am up for it.

You seem to have flawless skin and hair, what is the skincare regime that you swear by?

Ms.Bandgi Kalra

There is no special skincare regime but I do get a lot of questions on my skincare and hair care. I guess I will just thank my mom for the genes. My skincare routine is pretty simple and the same for day and night both – 

Morning – Facewash, sunscreen, eye cream.

Night – Facewash, moisturizer, eye cream.

Being a content creator what is one piece of advice you would like to give upcoming influencers and bloggers

Ms. Bandgi Kalra

My only advice is to be consistent with whatever type of content you want to create. If you are consistent your hard work will pay you well.

Social media is both a boon and bane, how do you deal with negativity and trolling on social media

Ms. Baandgi Kalra

So there is one rule in my life – I don’t care what people think about me or talk about me As long as I am right morally and at peace in my mind I am happy.

See We live in a world full of opinions whether you like it or not or you ask for it or not people will tell you their opinion and after doing Bigg boss this is the one thing I understood – people will always have an opinion whether they say it to you on your face or write as a comment online.

Lastly, the message you would like to give to our readers on why is it important to prioritize fitness and health for women of all ages

Ms.Bandgi Kalra

Fitness and health go hand in hand. The early you understand the better your life will be. Do not take your health for granted! 

This is something I tell my parents every day, you have to exercise for at least 30 mins a day. Keep your body moving, try to eat healthy if you can and it’s better to start a healthy lifestyle early in age so you don’t go through unnecessary issues or diseases as you start aging. 

Your body is your temple, if you don’t nurture it well nobody else will!
