Bhumika Gurung On Doing Pratigya 2, Fitness & More!

Bhumika Gurung is an Indian model and television actress, who came to light for her Main Female Protagonist title role of Nimki in Serial Nimki Mukhiya that airs on Star Bharat, she also portrayed the role of Meera in Maan Ke Awaaz Pratigya 2.

Bhumika, you started your journey as a model and then entered the acting world, tell us about how did you decide to be an actor

Ms. Bhumika Gurung

I never knew I wanted to be an actor! I’ve worked with diff sectors in the past. (9-5) jobs. I was always the confused one in the family. My father was the one who felt I belong to tv. He was the one who sent my pictures to production houses and that’s how it started.

You have played the role of Meera infamous serial Maan ke awaaz Pratigya, how was your experience on the show, also how did you prepare yourself for the role

It was a good experience. 

And having played an inspirational role like nimki (nimki mukhiya n vidhayak ) helped a lot. Because the language was pretty much the same.

Women Fitness India, talks about celebrity diets and fitness regimes, do you follow any special diets? Your favorite protein supplements you include in your diet

Ms. Bhumika Gurung

I’ve never followed a diet but I follow eat right. I eat everything. Diet doesn’t mean u leave something. Diet means eating everything eating the right everything. We have good substitutes for everything. We just need the knowledge

What comprises your fitness routine? How do you manage your workouts along with shooting schedules?

I don’t go to the gym. Walking and sometimes running is what I do and what I’ve been doing. But I avoid posting it on social media.

I’m blessed with good skin. Water is the key. Also, having a good clean stomach really helps. Eating n sleeping well are very imp too.

I believe fitness is something people need to talk about n promote. Talking about mental fitness is so important. Inner peace and happiness are what one must seek n work on. Rest just falls in place
