Should you wash your workout clothes with regular ones?

Sweaty gym clothes are home to numerous bacteria and fungus. So, it is important to take good care of them in order to protect yourself from any disease and nasty skin infection. All said and done, it is really challenging to keep your gym clothes clean. Most of the time, people find themselves swamped with gym hygiene-related subjects and the most common worry is, should they wash their workout clothes with the regular ones?

The big revelation

It is best to wash your sportswear separately from your regular clothes. In fact, you should wash all your workout clothes together and the regular ones separately. There are two major reasons why you should do it: First, if you are washing your soft sportswear in the same load of stiff jeans, or sequence clothes, chances are that your workout clothes will wear out. Sportswear is made of soft fabric and if it rubs against other materials, it will start to look shabby soon.

Secondly, gym clothes are sweaty and have a strong odour. At times even after washing the clothes properly, the odour does not go away. So, if you are really concerned about hygiene and odour, then wash them separately.
