Women Fitness team catches up with her in a candid conversation about her journey, fitness, diet, beauty in a candid conversation!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Pavitra you have been in the industry for a decade now, you have played some exciting roles, tell us how has the journey been for you and when did you decide to be an actor

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

Thank you so much for the compliment. Yes. I have played many roles till now that I felt I really should go ahead and portray the characters. I’ve only played once the positive character but after that I’m doing all the negative characters in that too because I find that in negative characters you allow yourself to show more versatility in the matter of what kind of actor you are and you can see a lot of variations basically as an actor.

Also. I have never planned to be an actress. I always wanted to become an IPS officer and right now being in this industry also for so many years, since 2009 now my forte is – like I see myself more on Forbes and not in this industry anymore. But let’s see. I’m destined to be in this industry and I am doing my job with full gratitude and with as much hard work, I can put here I’m being loyal with my work.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You were recently part of Bigg Boss 14, how was your experience on the show? Your most cherished memory from the show

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

Cherished Memories in this show Bigg Boss was the time that I have spent with Ejaz in the house, especially in the red zone. And yes, the experience was very good experience and very disgusting  why I’m saying this beautiful and disgusting at the same time is because the people that you sit with in that house. There is a point when you are laughing with those people and you’re talking your heart out, talking to them anything and everything and you are just in that fun mood in the calming Zone and suddenly something happens and you bust out on each other same people and you don’t know like what happened suddenly but things happen in that house. So the experience was very beautiful and very disgusting in Big Boss.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Women Fitness India, talks about celebrity diets and workout, do you follow any particular diet? Your favorite cuisines

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

I don’t follow any particular diet, I never recommend anything unless I do it myself be it my fitness or diet. I tend to eat a lot but in small portions like I practically eat in a quarter plate rather than a dinner plate. Eating everything and eating healthy!

Also since Bigg Boss I have stopped eating junk not good for my health also, but I tend to eat pizza once a week. Meditation is something I swear by I mediate a lot, aligning my 7 chakras is very important for me. Also, I tend to do a lot of household chores since I don’t get to work out in the gym it adds up for me. Also, I love to lift heavy weights when in the gym!

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

What comprise of your fitness regime? Your favorite time to workout? How did you manage your routine in the Bigg Boss house

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

Thinking Big Boss house. I have never worked out because the tasks we used to do such heavy tasks, I never felt the need to work out also moreover I believe in eating right and then burning off the calories, Also as mentioned previously I use to do a lot of Household chores that itself is a workout   there is no need to suffocate your body. There is no need to harass your body in that way that you have to work out. So I avoid doing that until and unless my body is not craving for the workout I avoid it.

As I said, I work for 12 hours and wearing that costume that outfit and coming back home like almost dead. There is no point going and working out. So the only thing that I compromise somewhere on a good note or a bad note is my 12 hours schedule of shooting every day.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You were fondly called the “sherni” in the house, with Women’s Day approaching what is your message for the readers to be a strong and independent woman

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

Yes, of course. It was a very amazing compliment that I have got from people from fans my friends. that they called Sherni. In fact on Instagram, I have put that hashtag #Sherni because yes, I’m proud to be one. Why because they roar quite loud also, they go hunt they take care of the family and they take care of the clan and also they’re very strong.  Come what may and they’re ready to fight and give it all in and that’s how Pavitra Punia is. So to all the women out there. Just one piece of advice just roar. Indeed with some senses of this thing firstly how to Roar and how much to Roar and when to Roar. But Roar let your voice be out in front of people don’t self-sabotage yourself don’t self-sabotage your voice. Just let your voice be heard no matter what it is.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Now, that the show is over what are your upcoming future plans and projects in 2021

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

Lots of surprises are coming up a lot of Ott platforms and has approached me and we are just waiting how things are going to move ahead and still in talking terms. So surprises are yet to be revealed.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

You have been part of both fiction and non-fiction shows, which genre did you enjoy more? Will you be doing more reality shows in future

Ms. Pavitra Punia:

I like doing reality is more because that is where you can show yourself show your vulnerable side to people that really that people really connect with so I love being real with people. That is my Mantra of life that be real and shows the world who you really are.

So I think reality shows are very close to my heart because I started my career this journey of television and being visible on-screen through a reality show only that is Splits villa season 3. Why not? I would love to do reality shows. I would love to judge the reality show

Ms. Namita Nayyar:
