Women Fitness India Gets in a candid chat in our March Digital Edit with Radhika Bangia, on Content creation, diets, and movies!

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Radhika being an Indian content creator, what was your source of inspiration and bent toward content creation?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

Acting was where I began. At those times, I frequently performed seven to eight auditions in a single day. I also appeared in TV ads. I was able to find three to four advertisements per month since the more auditions you go, the greater your chances of landing the job. After doing that for a while, I realized that acting is not stable employment for me because it is not really constant for me. I started making content while I was auditioning, just for fun. Also started creating humorous sketches as a method of easing stress, and suddenly they gained me Instagram followers.

I didn’t know social media could be a wonderful method to make money; Was just doing it for fun. Honestly, I believed it was a fraud when Zomato sent me my first brand deal. I observed that I didn’t even make close to what they were paying me for an advertisement shoot. When I got the cheque, I thought that if I put in a lot of effort and gave it my all, maybe this could turn into a profession. I then began to concentrate more on content creation and social media. Now that it’s my full-time job, acting sort of comes second

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Nowadays a lot of content creators are entering the Bollywood and acting area, you have been part of movies as well, do you see that as a prospective future as well?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

For a variety of reasons, including establishing a business, working with brands, and pursuing starring in the film industry, people get into content creation or start auditioning from scratch; it’s each’s own perspective. These days we are seeing a lot of great creators entering the entertainment industry and due to the popular response, not just movies but even brands have started approaching them for campaigns/ promotions.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

What has been the toughest part of your journey? How would you describe your niche as?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

The toughest part of my journey has been consistency makers and I feel like you need to be in a certain mindset in the mood for me to shoot content I feel like when you’re not in the best mood and you’re trying to shoot happy content because my Page is wholesome, it’s happy I want to make people smile so I have to be constantly in my best mood to content. I have content before where I just did it because I thought I have to and people can tell it. It doesn’t get a response if you are genuinely feeling like not happy from within consistency has been a part of me and I have worked around it.

I would describe my niche as K-content and since I really enjoy Korean dramas, k-pop and dancing, and fashion comedy, I try to combine the mainstream stuff into the K-content.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Women Fitness India talks about celebrity diets and fitness regimes, do you follow any special diet? Your favorite Indian cuisine delights?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

To stay fit, I think it’s important to eat regularly and avoid skipping meals. I make an effort to eat as much protein and green veggies as I can. I don’t follow a strict diet plan every day, but I do make sure to eat a hearty breakfast every morning and to always include nuts and fruit in my diet. Also, a constant water intake is a crucial component of my healthy diet.

Fav Indian cuisine delights – I love North Indian chaat ( chat papdi, raj kachori, and also homemade rajma rice )

Ms. Namita Nayyar

What is your fitness routine? Your favorite target areas?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

Honestly, I think my workout routine during the pandemic got messed up. I was doing Pilates for the last 6-7 months and I recently started working out again. I have to change my workout regime every 6 months because I get bored of doing a similar kind of workout for too long.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Besides physical fitness, mental wellness is equally important, you being in the public domain how do you keep up with trolling and negativity?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

It’s great that we can finally discuss sanity and mental health. Our mental health is just as crucial as our physical health. While there are many individuals on social media who will appreciate your work and support you along the way, creators must also deal with hatred on the same platform. I’ve learned that one needs to avoid being affected by the negativity surrounding them in order to be successful or happy for that matter. Others will continue to criticize, but we know what we’re doing, and I have a great community that loves and support me. I’ll continue to give it my all for those that enjoy my work because they matter, not for those who want to see you fall down.

Ms.Namita Nayyar:

Being on our digital cover what message you would like to share with our readers on how to create a niche and move up in the influencer industry?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

Nowadays, you always want to get fast feedback on the content you publish. Each person’s journey as a creator is unique since each caters to a particular audience. Pick a genre of content that you like and start working on it. If you create what you love then eventually with time and consistency you can reach your goal.

But to evaluate oneself or place someone else on a pedestal before giving things enough time, in my opinion, is really unfair. It’s crucial to continue and to have a plan in place that should be used for a specific amount of time. If it doesn’t, alter your approach, evaluate your audience, and resume your work. A creator should never give up on their craft in any situation.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Lastly, with the influencer market growing every day where do you see yourself in the future? Dreams and manifestations?

Ms. Radhika Bangia

Yes, the influencer market is growing with each passing day but my work is to keep giving my best and create content that I love.

Future projects-

I’m genuinely open to anything as long as the work is enjoyable, the role is fulfilling, and I have the freedom of content. I don’t mind whether the storyline is fascinating and the gig is a good one, whether it’s in Bollywood, Hollywood, Korean, or Chinese. I would just go ahead and do it if I am excited about it.
