Richa you have been in the industry for over a decade, from your modelling days to being an actor what has been your source of inspiration and motivation?

Ms. Richa Chadha

It still feels surreal that it has been over a decade in the industry. My source of inspiration and motivation has to be the urge to tell stories, stories about fearless women that motivates other. Ms. Namita Nayyar

Coming from a non-film background and family, how did you decide to be an actor and get into the industry? Initial struggles you faced?

Ms. Richa Chadha

True that, being an outsider it was difficult to break into the industry especially with the kind of roles I chose to play like my breakthrough role was gangs of wasseypur which was a not glamorous role.

Being an insider and a star kid has its own pros, it’s easy to get a breakthrough role and people are looking forward to see them, but besides the monetary support what I feel is more important is the moral support which I feel is very important at the initial stage of your career which I think is very important.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

You have played some of the most popular and trending roles, what piece of your work has been your personal favorite and why?

Ms. Richa Chadha

My personal favorite is very hard to pick, but my recent work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a new favorite, “Heeramandi” it shows my role in altogether different light and I am really looking forward for the audience to see it and love it!

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Women Fitness India talks about celebrity diets and fitness routine, what comprises of your diet routine? Do you follow any special diet?

Ms. Richa Chadha

I don’t follow any particular diet, even I have stopped advising people on different diets, I only advice people to see what foods suit you go for an allergic test see whether lactose suits you. I have seen a lot of people who are borderline diabetic consuming foods like fruits which are very high on sugar, also people with chronic acidity having warm water with lemon in it. So its very important to understand your diet to include proper protein, fats and carbs in it. With so much of health issues coming up every day, heart issues at such young age is like an alarm clock for us to understand and be conscious about our lifestyle.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

What consists of your fitness schedules? Your favourite workout time and target areas?

Ms. Richa Chadha

I do a mix of functional and conditional workout. That includes running, mobility and agility training. Some days I do dancing as well also very important is that I include yoga and stretching. I purely rely on how my body is feeling someday I feel when my body is tired I just do walking. I have always been into fitness even when I was not an actor I used to be into fitness and everyone should do some sort of physical activity and it’s equally important for all of us.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Social media is a bone and bane, how do you deal with the negative side of social media, how do you connect and disconnect from the media world

Ms. Richa Chadha

I think the things on social gets blown out of proportion, prayers for someone or other hand someone getting cancelled can blow up very soon also people are in too much hurry to make judgements about everyone and opinions which I do not like neither I wish to promote and be part of. It should be  place of positivity and fun, A bit of humor is good for all of us but anything done in a negative way to put down someone is not good and should not be promoted.

Ms. Namita Nayyar:

Being in the industry you in the scrutiny of the public, your thoughts on the pap culture and how do you keep up with your personal life?

Ms. Richa Chadha

I don’t really face a lot of issues with paps as in now, if I tell them to not publish something they don’t. I hope we don’t end up being like it is in the west. Where celebrities end up being followed on their vacations, they should understand that we are also humans and are entitled for a personal space.

Ms. Namita Nayyar

Being an outsider in the industry and making a space for yourself, what message you would share for our readers who look up to you as a cover girl
