Namita Nayyar:

Sara you have been in the industry for a decade, tell us how did you decide to be an actor?

Sara Arfeen Khan

I’ve always been drawn to the arts, drama, and theatre. From a young age, I eagerly participated in every competition, relishing every moment on stage. It seemed almost inevitable to my family that I’d emerge victorious each time. While I never explicitly set out to become an actor, I believe that subconsciously, I gravitated towards it, drawn by its all its magic, glamour and drama.

Namita Nayyar:

In this journey what has been your strength on days of initial struggles and rejections?

Sara Arfeen Khan

When I was offered my debut show, ‘Dhoond Legi Manzil Humein,’ I was ready to pour my heart into it, prepared for long hours of hard work. Little did I know that it would demand 24-hour days

, at least 9-10 times a month. Despite the grueling schedule, I persevered for 12 months, discovering that my passion could fuel my endurance. My ability to grasp lines in mere moments, sometimes seconds, became my greatest asset during shoots. Even my curly hair, once deemed ‘unfit’ for an actor, evolved into an unexpected strength, adding to the depth of my character portrayal defining it to be different and in most cases glamorous.

Namita Nayyar:

Women Fitness India talks about celebrity diets and more, do you follow any special diet? What is your favorite cuisine ?

Sara Arfeen Khan

As a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, I cherish every meal. My approach to dieting focuses on moderation, with a conscious effort to limit sugar intake, eliminate milk, and avoid carbs after 7 pm. Complementing this dietary discipline, I adhere to a rigorous workout regimen four times a week giving full credit to my personal trainer Louis who’s been my trainer for 10 years now. This balance ensures not only physical fitness but also a profound sense of happiness and well-being, keeping me in shape and ready to savor life’s culinary delights. My favourite cuisine depends on my mood however, Asian cuisine is my all time favourite.

Namita Nayyar:

What consists of your fitness routine? Besides physical fitness how do you keep up with your mental wellness

Sara Arfeen Khan

My daily routine revolves around a combination of cardio and weight training, typically lasting 30 to 45 minutes each. Even on days away from the gym, I prioritize movement through activities like swimming or gentle stretching. Consistent physical activity serves as a potent antidote to stress and mood fluctuations, supported by scientific research. Additionally, I rely on three personal secrets for enhanced well-being: weekly intravenous multivitamins, occasional coffee enemas, and the transformative act of removing toxic individuals from my life. Embracing these practices has been a cornerstone of my journey toward optimal health and vitality.
