By Ananta Goyal, @bumpandbaby

In a candid interview with Women Fitness, Ananta, mother of two boys and a renowned parenting blogger (@bumpandbaby) travels back on being a daughter herself & how she plans to celebrate daughter’s day.

Before every woman  becomes a mom she is born a daughter into a family, growing up  share a memorable childhood experience being a daughter?

When I was a child, my parents were travelling abroad for a couple weeks. My brother and I were sent to our grandparents for that period. When we came back home, our room was shut. We opened the room to find that whole rooms was filled with presents and chocolates.

It was unexpected and we were overjoyed to see everything lovingly bought for us.

Your dream daughter’s day celebration idea would be?

Being a mom of 2 boys and being surrounded by superheroes and cars, I would enjoy a quiet celebration.

A time to relax, destress and catch up over a nice cup of coffee.

According to you what should be 5 ways to make a daughter feel special?

  1. A day of pampering at the salon

2. Baking goodies together.

3. Some presents that they would enjoy.

4. A heartfelt card.

5. Movie night together.

Your dream daughter’s day celebration idea  with your mom  from morning to night would be?

I think starting with a spa day, followed by a leisurely lunch and movie and late night desserts would be ideal.

Dressing up a daughter to make her feel special, would be …complete the sentence.

More of a joy for the mother.

Dessert ideas you would suggest a mother for daughter’s day celebration.

1.A sundae icecream

2. Bite sized cupcakes

3. Homemade bread pudding

4. Anything chocolate

WF team wishes Ananta Goyal a very Happy Daughters Day.
