Top 10 Reasons Why You Need A Well-Fitted Bra

Why You Need A Well-Fitted Bra

The choice to wear or not to wear a bra is a personal one. Many women who are used to wearing bras feel uncomfortable in public without them.

If you need or want to wear a bra, find one that fits well. Be careful about the underwires and side panels, because if the fit is not just right, the underwire can poke into the breast tissue, and the side panels can create extra pressure and tightness. Consider getting fitted right with a professional fitter. Also, give your breasts “free time”. Take your bra off whenever you can, such as at home. At the very least do not wear it to sleep.

Your bust has no muscle: It is composed of adipose tissue, glandular epithelium, ducts, blood vessels, collagen-supporting fibers, and the skin. These are all overlays upon the normal musculature of the chest wall.

Gravitational Effect: When gravity pulls your breast down, it stretches your throat and face tissue. In it’s unprotected position, the breast is subjected to bumping and bruising by the arms. It is also subjected to stretch and movement due to the pull of gravity with every step, if not properly supported.

Your breast depends on an outside source of support to keep its shape: wearing a proper fitted bra will help reposition your breast tissue to its natural position and give you the support you need to comfortably keep your bustline in its proper place.

The shape of your breast is determined by the bras you wear: Without proper support one of the greatest laws of the Universe takes place…gravity. The delicate tissue begins to roll off the chest wall, over the pectoral muscle, and displaces itself under the arm and in the midriff area. A pendulous look begins to develop. This is not healthy as the proper blood flow to the breast area is now being blocked and the tissue under the arm is being bumped and battered with every move.

Ill fitted bra can influence posture: Both weight and gravity affect posture. The dolinger area of the back, just below the neck base, is put under undue stress with an ill fitted bra. When you try to lift the weight of the breast off the rib cage by shortening your bra strap, you then either get the back of the bra riding up or painful grooves in the shoulder.

Your bust must be lifted to allow for proper circulation. Massage your breasts on a daily basis help to increase circulation,  relieve lymphatic build up and a lift up.

Without proper support, lymphatic drainage is impeded, which interferes with cellular health.

Breast disease is more likely when there is no circulation and lymphatic drainage. Avoid tight bras for they can cause congestion in the lymph nodes — a vital part of the immune system and the body’s first line of defence against the spread of cancer. Repeated inflammation from constricting bras are implicated in painful breast cysts and lumps, scar tissue develops, and milk ducts become plugged, all of which is associated with a higher risk of breast cancer.

The size of Breasts varies with age: According to experts, women’s breasts change sizes an average of five times over their life. That means that the bra size you wore when you were 20 now will no longer fit you properly. And there is a good chance that the bra you are now wearing will no longer fit you in a few years time. Skin, not muscle actually supports the breasts, and skin stretches with movement. Wearing a good support bra is essential to minimize this stretching. Changes in breast structure depend on your genetics, skin elasticity, and weight gain during pregnancy.

Leaves you more confident: Women tend to feel awkward or self-conscious without bras if they are used to wearing them. In fact, when a person gets used to automatically wearing bras, it’s possible to not even notice or pay any attention to the slight discomfort from bras.

Choosing the right undergarments will not only improve your posture, but it will improve your appearance, your health, and even your self-confidence!

Diet & Breast Tone

Specific diet will improve your circulation and your skinwill look healthier and firmer. Reduce the intake of animal fat. Instead, eat lots of wholegrain cereals, legumes and green vegetables. Eat food which is rich in vitamin B and E, because they help maintain skin’s elasticity and tonus.
