Recognizing the important role of Yoga, in the psycho-social care and rehabilitation of Covid-19 patients in quarantine and isolation, this year’s commemoration of the International Yoga Day focuses on ‘Yoga for well-being’. The Theme signifies the importance of Yoga focusing on how the practice of Yoga can promote the holistic health of every individual.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended Yoga as means to improve health. Its various benefits include increased flexibility, fitness, mindfulness, and relaxation.

Whether you’re a morning person or not, taking the time to actually set up an uplifting morning routine that includes practicing gratitude, yoga, pranayama, breathing exercises—even if it’s just saying thanks for one thing each day—can have a big impact on the rest of your day. Celebrity Malaika Arora Khan swears by Yoga & its benefits. Cover Model for Women Fitness Magazine stated in her interview “My daily fitness regime comprises of doing Yoga at leat one hour everyday. My simple goto everyday asanas are- Shirshasana, Suryanamaskar and Padmasana.”

Talking of yoga trainers, Payal Gidwani Tiwari in her feature states “Yoga is a complete change in one’s life.” She further adds “Yoga should happen to everyone it changed my life 360 degrees from a girl who would keep all within I become a bold go-getter.
