Life Coach Pallavi Kambo on Why “Healing Cannot Be Forced”

In her interview with Women Fitness, life coach and holistic healer Pallavi Kambo explains why “healing cannot be forced.” Her path began in a school, where she headed the Primary and Pre-Primary branches and saw many women lose themselves between family and everyone else’s needs. Her own experience with postpartum depression showed her how closely mind, body, and energy are connected.

In this conversation, Pallavi Kambo speaks about intuition, the myths of manifestation, the difference between being spiritual and being healed, and why abundance is something we choose to see.

The Turning Point

Pallavi’s turning point came while she was heading the Primary and Pre-Primary branches of a school. She saw so many women feeling stuck, caught between their homes, their families, and everyone else’s needs, having stopped living the life they truly wanted. After her second child, she found herself in a similar place. She went through postpartum depression and felt she was continuously losing her creative fountain, and herself along with it. “One of the most difficult feelings is knowing you are meant to do something bigger and more meaningful, yet feeling unable to do it,” she says.

Working through that experience and understanding the connection between her mind, body, and energy changed everything. She didn’t want to keep the transformation to herself. She wanted to help more women come back to their bodies, their minds and, ultimately, who they truly are.

Your Body Is Your GPS

That return begins with the body. When asked whether women should trust how their body feels over rigid plans and numbers, Pallavi is clear: “Your body is the biggest GPS you can have.” She believes we have become so disconnected from ourselves that we’ve forgotten how to listen to our own intuition. If we truly learned to listen, we wouldn’t need anyone else constantly telling us what our body needs. She draws a distinction between discipline and disconnection. Discipline matters, but pushing yourself while ignoring what your body is communicating is not discipline.

Sitting with your body, understanding it, honouring it, and even being grateful for it is essential. “Your body is constantly communicating with you,” she says. “The question is: have you slowed down enough to listen?”

The Biggest Myth About Manifesting

The same mind-body conflict, she explains, lies behind the biggest myth about manifesting abundance: that you can repeat affirmations all day and create whatever you want. You can declare that you want to build a hundred-crore empire, but if your body is saying “I am not worthy of this,” there is a conflict. The body can still hold experiences, fears, and patterns from the past, and when mind and body disagree, that unconscious programming often wins. Yet she also believes we are already abundant beings.

We don’t have to become abundant; we have to start removing the weight of childhood patterns and learned beliefs that no longer serve us. As we release what is blocking us, we naturally begin to move with the frequency of abundance.

What the Inner Child Would Say

Asked what her inner child would say to her today, Pallavi imagines a simple sentence: “Thank you for finally listening to me.” For a long time, she says, many of us learn to become what the world expects us to be. Healing is about coming back to yourself and asking what you actually need, what you feel and what you want. Her inner child would remind her that she doesn’t have to earn love by being perfect, productive, or useful. She can simply be.

Pallavi Kambo on Spiritual vs. Healed

Healing, in her view, is also different from spirituality. Spirituality can sometimes become another way of avoiding uncomfortable emotions, and someone can meditate, manifest, and talk about energy while still being unable to regulate their emotions, communicate boundaries, or take responsibility for their patterns. Healing is more grounded. You know you are healing when your awareness begins showing up in your behaviour: you respond differently, stop repeating the same patterns, and become more compassionate without becoming a doormat.

From a Vedantic perspective, she adds, healing isn’t about creating a perfect personality. It’s about becoming less identified with the constantly changing mind and resting more deeply in awareness.

When Money and Love Are Both Blocked

When money and love are both blocked, she doesn’t choose between them. She starts with self-worth and safety, because the same belief can show up in both: “I am not worthy of receiving.” If you don’t feel safe receiving love, you may push it away or settle for less. If you don’t feel worthy of abundance, you may unconsciously sabotage opportunities or feel you must constantly struggle. So she works at the root, with the beliefs, emotional patterns and nervous-system responses around worthiness, safety and receiving.

The Limits of Healing

She is also candid about the limits of her work. Healing cannot be forced; she has learned. Sometimes we desperately want someone to change or move forward, but a part of them isn’t ready yet. Her role isn’t to “heal” anyone; it is to create the space, offer the tools, and help people see what they couldn’t see before, while they participate in their own healing. Sometimes the most powerful intervention isn’t another technique but allowing the person to slow down, feel what they’ve been avoiding, and build enough safety to face it.

Where the Ego Still Fights

Even now, she says, her ego still fights her on control. The ego wants certainty about what will happen, when and how everything will unfold. Her spiritual practice keeps bringing her back to surrender, which she is careful to distinguish from passivity. It means doing her part fully and then releasing her attachment to the outcome. She can control her effort, her intention, and her actions, but not the entire journey. “Sometimes surrender is the deepest form of trust,” she says.

Five Minutes of Silence

For those with only five minutes a day, her advice is disarmingly simple: sit in silence. Sit quietly and ask yourself what you are feeling, what you are thinking, what is happening within you right now, and with what intention you would like to live your day. Don’t try to fix anything. Just sit, listen, and observe. When you create silence, you start hearing what is usually drowned out by everyday noise. “Silence creates awareness,” she says, “and awareness is where transformation begins.”

Ten Out of Ten

Asked to rate how abundant she feels on a scale of one to ten, Pallavi doesn’t hesitate: ten. She feels abundant all the time because she genuinely believes she has everything she needs. Abundance, she says, is all around us, and there is a law of nature that reminds us resources are never-ending, but if we don’t believe abundance exists, we will always operate from scarcity. When she looks at her life, she sees so much to be grateful for.

For Pallavi Kambo, abundance is recognising that what she has is already enough, while seeing that life is constantly offering more. “I don’t wait for abundance to arrive,” says Pallavi Kambo. “I choose to see it.”
