Ingredients
- 1 cup black tea
- 1 cup orange juice (2 large oranges), 1 cup musambi juice (2 musambis)
- 1” piece ginger, juice of ½ lemon
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp finely chopped apple
- 2 tbsp mint (poodina) leaves – chopped
- 6-8 ice cubes – crushed
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup water 4 tsp sugar. Remove from fire. Add 1 tsp tea leaves & 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves to the water. Mix. Keep on low flame for five minutes to extract the flavor of ginger. Cool. Strain.
- Crush ginger roughly & boil in 1 cup water. Keep on low flame for 5 minutes to extract the flavor of ginger. Cool. Strain.
- Strain the tea. Mix tea, orange & musambi juice, ginger extract & lemon juice. Add apple pieces and 1 tbsp chopped poodina. Keep in the fridge till serving time. Serve chilled over ice cubes in small juice glasses.
