Ingredients
- 2 cups Kohinoor Basmati Rice
- 400 gms pork, cut in cubes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp. ginger paste
- ½ tsp. turmeric powder
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 2 tbsp, vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
- Cilantro, for garnishing
Instructions
- Wash the rice properly and keep aside
- Heat oil in a flat bottomed pan, sauté bay leaves, onions, ginger paste, turmeric and black pepper
- Fry till the oil separates
- Add the pork pieces and fry for some time till light brown
- Add the pre-washed rice and fry for 2-3 minutes, then add salt
- Add 4 cups of water and simmer till cooked
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot
