Ingredients
- ½ of a small water melon (tarbuz)
- juice of a ½ melon – optional
- ½” piece ginger – chopped
- ¼ tsp kala namak (rock salt)
- 8-10 cubes ice or 1 cup crushed ice
Instructions
- Cut the water melon & deseed the pieces carefully.
- Blend the water melon along with ginger in a blender to a pulp.
- Pass the pulp through a sieve.
- Add crushed ice & kala namak. Add lemon juice if desired.
- Serve in stemmed glasses, garnished with a triangular piece of tarbooz cut a little and inserted on a glass side. A petal of any flower (Gladoli) may also be inserted on the side if desired.
