Ingredients
- 1 onion diced
- 1/2 bowl boiled chickpeas (chana/chole)
- 1/2 small cup boiled rice/brown rice (soaked for 1 hour)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 cap soy sauce
- 1 cap vinegar
- 1/2 cap red chilli sauce
- coriander leaves/lemon grass for dressing
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Begin with adding olive oil in the frying pan. To the pan add diced onions and saute them till slightly golden.
- Once onions are ready add soy sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce and boiled chickpeas to it. Then add the soaked rice and water (1 cup) to it. Cover and let it cook.
- After 7-8 minutes check, if more water is required you can add some, till rice is fully cooked.
- Then add black pepper and salt and cook on simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve hot.
