Ingredients
- ½ cup cooked corn
- 2 slices bread – sides removed
- ¼ cup water
- 2-4 flakes garlic – crushed
- 2-3 spring onions – finely chopped up to the greens
- 2 tbsp maida (plain flour), ¼ tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp grated cheese
- salt, pepper and red chilli powder to taste
Instructions
- Crumble bread. Boil water in a pan. Add crumbled bread & mix well for a few seconds till it becomes a solid mass.
- Remove from heat. Add garlic, spring onions, corn & cheese. Mix well.
- Add baking powder & maida. Make into small balls like marbles.
- Smoothen the surface with wet hands. Heat oil till medium hot.
- Add 2-3 balls at a time & deep fry on low medium heat till golden.
