Ingredients
- 1 small (250 gm) tender ghiya (bottle gourd)
- 3 tbsp curd – well beaten
- 1 tsp oil
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
- ½ tsp haldi (turmeric powder), ½ tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 small tomato – finely chopped
Instructions
- Peel & cut ghiya into small cubes. Wash & keep aside.
- Heat oil in pressure cooker. Reduce flame. Add ajwain. Cook till it turns golden. Add salt, haldi & red chilli powder. Stir fry for ½ minute.
- Add the beaten curd. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add ghiya & bhunu for 3-4 minutes. Pressure cook to give 2 whistles. When the pressure drops, add the chopped coriander & tomato. Mix well.
