Ingredients
- 250 gms tender French beans – cut finely
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- ½ tsp sarson (mustard seeds)
- ½ of a fresh coconut – grated after
- removing the brown skin
- 1 tsp oil
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Thread French beans. Cut into slanting pieces, ½” long. Wash & boil French beans in 2 cups water with 1 tsp salt, till tender. Drain water. (Drained water can be used for preparing dal or a soup).
- Heat oil. Reduce flame. Add mustard seeds. When they crackle, add the boiled French beans.
- Add grated coconut & cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add black pepper. Add salt if required.
- At the time of serving, add lemon juice according to taste.
