Ingredients
- 8-10 grapes – cut into halves, 2-3 slices kharbooza – cut into flat pieces
- 1 small apple – cut into flat pieces, 1 orange – segments removed
- 1 cup milk, 1½ tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp strawberry custard powder – in ¼ cup milk
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup water. Remove from fire. Add jelly crystals and stir well to mix the crystals. Add 1½ cups water. Mix well. Cool.
- Pour 1/3 of the liquid jelly in a wet ring mould (a jelly mould with a whole in the centre). Keep in a freezer for about ½ hour till set.
- Spread fruits on the set jelly. Pour the left over liquid jelly on it. Freeze.
- Prepare custard by boiling 1 cup milk with sugar. Reduce flame & add the custard paste, stirring continuously. Stir on low flame for 5 minutes till very thick. Chill the custard. Beat to make it smooth & creamy.
- Run a knife around the set jelly. Invert it on a flat serving plate. Fill with custard. Put some grapes on the custard. Keep in freezer till serving time.
