Mushrooms with spring onions.
Ingredients
- 200 gms (1 packet) fresh mushrooms
- ½ cup fresh curd of skimmed milk – well beaten well with a spoon
- 5-6 spring onions – diagonally cut into small pieces, up to ¾ of its green stem
- 1 green chilli – deseeded & chopped
- 2 tsp oil
- 6-8 flakes garlic – crushed
- 2tsp dhania (coriander) powder
- a pinch of sugar
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 laung (cloves) – crushed roughly
Instructions
- Wash mushrooms thoroughly. Cut mushrooms into half if they are small & into 4 pieces, if they are big.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in non-stick pan. Add garlic. Sauté for 1 minute on low flame. Add mushrooms and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, till they turn soft and light brown.
- Add curd. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes on low flame, till it dries & coats the mushrooms.
- Add crushed laung. Cook for ½ minute.
- Add green onions & chopped green chillies. Cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
- Add coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder & sugar to it. Cook for 4 -5 minutes.
- Remove from fire & serve hot.
