Ingredients
- 1cup nutri nugget granules (prepared from soya beans)
- 1 cup shelled peas
- 1 cup skimmed milk - hot
- ¼ cup tomato puree (ready-made)
- 1” stick dalchini (black cinnamon)
- 2 moti ellaichi (black cardamom)
- ¾ tsp salt or to taste
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ½ tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp tandoori masala
- ½ tsp garam masala
Instructions
- Wash nuggets. Soak them in hot milk for one hour or more.
- Heat oil. Reduce flame & add dalchini & moti ellachi. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add tomato puree and cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame.
- Add peas. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add ½ cup water and cook covered on low flame till peas are done.
- Add salt & red chilli powder.
- Add the nuggets along with the milk. Cook till almost dry. Add tandoori masala and garam masala. Stir fry for 2 minutes on low flame. Remove from fire.
- At serving time, heat the vegetable.
- Mix in the lemon juice. Serve hot.
