It’s a myth that pasta is fattening!
Ingredients
- 1 cup (100gms) uncooked macaroni
- 3 tomatoes – chopped
- ¼” ginger piece – chopped
- 2 flakes crushed garlic – optional
- 2 onions – chopped
- 1 green chilli – chopped
- ½ tbsp maida (plain flour)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp pepper
- a pinch of sugar
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
Instructions
- Boil macaroni in plenty of salted water, stirring occasionally. Drain through cold water.
- Heat oil in a non-stick or a heavy bottomed kadhai. Add onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies. Cook till onions turn transparent.
- Add maida. Stir fry for half a minute. Reduce flame.
- Add milk, stirring continuously. Keep stirring on slow fire for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, salt, sugar, pepper and ketchup. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add macaroni. Mix gently. Serve.
