Ingredients
- 4 tbsp chopped poodina (mint leaves) – crushed roughly on a chakla-belan
- 1½ cups curd prepared from skimmed milk
- ½ tsp kala namak (rock salt)
- ½ tsp bhuna jeera (roasted cumin seeds) powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 cups water
- 6-8 ice cubes
Instructions
- Wash & chop mint leaves. Crush on a chakla betan to a rough paste.
- Put curd, crushed mint, jeera powder, kala namak & salt in a blender. Blend for a few seconds.
- Add chilled water & cubes of ice. Blend till frothy.
- Serve sprinkled with a pinch of bhuna jeera & garnished with a few finely chopped mint leaves.
