Delicious as well as nutritive.
Ingredients
- 20 leaves of palak - very finely chopped
- ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- 2½ cups curd of skimmed milk
- seeds of 1 moti illaichi (black cardamom) - crushed to a powder
Instructions
- Boil 3 cups water in pan. Wash palak leaves. Chop finely. Place the leaves in a metal strainer with big holes. (colander) & place the colander on the pan of boiling water. Cover the colander & steam the palak for three minutes. Remove from fire and cool the leaves. Alternately, boil the leaves by dropping them in boiling waterfor three minutes. Strain & cool.
- Beat curd till smooth
- Crush seeds of moti illaichi on a chakla-belan.
- Add palak, salt, moti illaichi and red chilli powder to the beaten curd.
- Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with bhuna jeera & red chilli powder.
