Ingredients
4 cups boiled penne pasta 2 tbsp butter ½ tsp each salt, pepper and red chilli powder SAUCE- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 4-6 flakes garlic – crushed
- 4 tbsp tomato puree
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- ½ of an onion – finely chopped
- ½ of the capsicum - finely chopped
- 4 tbsp fresh cream
- 2 tsp chilli sauce
- salt, pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat butter in a frying pan. Add boiled pasta and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add ¼ tsp each of salt, pepper and red chilli powder. Mix well for ½ minute. Remove from pan.
- To prepare the sauce, heat oil in the same pan. Add oregano and garlic.
- When garlic changes colour, add tomato puree. Stir for 1 minute.
- Add diced onions and capsicums. Stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Add tomato ketchup and chilli sauce. Mix.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the pasta. Mix well. Remove from fire.
- Add the cream. Mix gently and serve.
