Mushrooms have a low fat content & are a rich source of vitamins & minerals.
Ingredients
- 200 gms (1 packed fresh mushrooms)
- 2 tsp oil
- 1 tsp ajwain (carom seeds) – crushed
- 2 onions – chopped finely
- 1” piece ginger
- 2 green chillies – chopped finelly
- 1 tsp garam masala
- ¾ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp dhania (coriander) powder
- ¾ cup fresh curd of skimmed milk
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Wash mushroomst5horoughly.
- Cut the mushrooms in ‘T’ shaped slices. Each mushroom should be cut into 4-5 slices.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add ajwain. Cook for 2-3 seconds.
- Add onions, green chillies and ginger. Cook till onions turn light brown in colour.
- Add mushrooms. Cook covered, stirring occasionally, till mushrooms are done.
- Add chilli powder and coriander powder.
- Blend in between curd, garam masala & salt.
- Cook till curd dries up & coats the mushrooms. Serve hot with chappaties.
